Competing in the TNT Fireworks Bassmaster Team Championship, Anaya's two-day haul of 10 bass weighing a total of 39 pounds, 15 ounces placed him at the top of the leaderboard, narrowly edging out fellow Alabaman Barrett Choquette, who finished with a weight of 38 pounds, 5 ounces.
