The 2025 Spring season of the Carolina Anglers Team Trail came to a thrilling conclusion on May 10, 2025, at Lake Anna, Virginia. The tournament showcased impressive skills from local fishing teams, with winners announced after a competitive day on the water.
First place was claimed by the duo of Jeff Parrish and Clay Gatewood, who brought in a total weight of 18.20 pounds. Their impressive catch not only secured them the championship title but also earned them $2,000 in winnings. "Winning back-to-back championships feels incredible," said Jeff Parrish. "All our hard work and preparation truly paid off this season."
Following closely in second place were Nate Sullivan and Eric Johnson, with a weight of 17.11 pounds. Their bag was highlighted by a big fish weighing 5.81 pounds, which came with an additional prize of $150, rounded out by their contributions to a side pot which added another $90. "We had a great day out there and are thrilled with our catch," noted Eric Johnson.
In third place, Timmy Sheridan and Caleb Wood secured a respectable 15.40 pounds worth $300. Though their catch didn’t match the top two teams, their effort was commendable. "Every tournament teaches us something new, and we’re looking forward to next season," Timmy Sheridan said.
