Patriot Campers has unveiled its latest innovation, the ST7 Supertourer, marking a significant evolution for the Gold Coast manufacturer. At a substantial 6.35 meters (22 feet 1 inch) in length, 2.1 meters (6 feet 10 inches) in width, and 2.2 meters (7 feet 2 inches) in height, the ST7 is the brand's biggest model yet, moving away from the compact trailers that have won them numerous awards.
"We’ve listened to our loyal customers asking for something bigger, and the time is finally right for a model like the ST7," said a spokesperson from Patriot Campers. This new trailer is the brand's first dual-axle offering, which enhances stability and provides a more spacious environment for those planning longer journeys or family trips.
For years, outdoor enthusiasts and families have been drawn to Patriot’s compact, nimble campers, but the demand for a larger trailer had been persistent. "When our customers ask for something new, we take it seriously. While we had previously said we wouldn't go bigger, the ST7 breaks that mold," explained the spokesperson. This model retains the rugged off-road capabilities the brand is known for while elevating the living experience.
The ST7 boasts an innovative suspension system, Trinamic suspension, designed for improved handling on various terrains. "Having dual axles provides extra traction and stability, which is essential for offroad adventures," said the spokesperson. This ensures that the trailer stays stable while being towed, aligning with Patriot's reputation for durability and advanced engineering.
Equipped with a Garmin-controlled electrical management system, the ST7 streamlines power and management for owners. "With a central touchscreen and a removable second screen, it’s easier to monitor everything from solar power to water levels," said the spokesperson. The camper includes a robust 920Ah lithium battery bank, alongside 1200 watts of solar panels and a powerful 3000W inverter, catering to modern needs even in off-grid conditions.
Inside the camper, the ST7 does not skimp on comfort or functionality. A pop-top roof creates a spacious atmosphere, and the standard sleeping arrangement accommodates up to three people, expandable to five with optional bunks. "We aimed to prioritize both comfort and practicality in the ST7’s design," said a representative. The interior also features a queen-size pocket spring bed, cafe-style seating, and an upright fridge, enhancing the overall camping experience.
One notable addition is the compact bathroom equipped with a shower and composting toilet, ideal for extended off-grid stays. "Our patented two-floor design helps keep the bathroom dry while allowing for premium living spaces," noted the representative. Outdoor cooking is also taken care of, with a slide-out kitchen that includes storage for essentials, a sink, and prep areas.
As for convenience, there are even options for a front-loader washing machine, bringing a taste of home to the outdoors.
The ST7 is a testament to the evolution of Patriot Campers, bridging the gap between rugged adventure and luxurious living. "We’re excited to introduce the ST7 to our community. It’s a camper designed with adaptability and user-friendliness in mind, perfect for every adventure," stated a company spokesperson.
In a competitive market of recreational vehicles, the ST7 Supertourer stands out, understanding the needs of today’s camper while maintaining the brand’s enduring legacy.
